Fenix ARB-18-3400mAh Rechargeable 18650 Battery

The cell features 3.6V of output power, a 3400mAh capacity, and a 12.24Wh rating. It also has a built-in protection circuit that safeguards against short-circuiting, overheating, and excessive charge/discharge current.

The overheating protection is achieved by way of a three-layer design consisting of a pressure relief valve, a microporous membrane separator, and a PTC cathode block. Vents built into the battery expel gas generated by internal short circuits, in order to prevent the cell from inflating and exploding. As an added safety measure, the 18650 is covered by a steel shell for protection against impact.

Additionally, the durable battery is designed to last for up to 500 charge/discharge cycles, and its low self-discharge rate allows it to maintain up to 75% of its capacity after the final cycle. Since it is free of memory effect, the 18650 li-ion cell will not lose usable capacity if it is repeatedly charged after being only partially discharged. It is compatible with the Fenix ARE-C1, ARE-C2, and ARE-X1 chargers.
